Year 1MS - Problem Solving

How do architects make tall, beautiful looking buildings?
Year 1 were set the challenge of making a building using marshmallows and toothpicks. They had to ensure the building was strong enough to hold its own weight and it had to be 3D.

The children tried their best with the investigation and experimented with different sizes and shapes of the buildings.

How would you ensure your building was both strong and tall?
