Awards Ceremony - Yellow class

Outstanding progress - Rooh

Rooh has been a pleasure to teach and has a kind and caring personality. He is always ready to learn and has grown in confidence more and more over the year. He has had some amazing support from home  and exceeded several of the early learning goals! His literacy and maths skills are exceptional and beyond the expectation of a reception child! He counts to 1000 and beyond and even knows some of his times tables at 5 years old! Amazing Rooh! Fully deserved!

Most improved - Jack

Jack is an irreplaceble member of the class- His personality is truly unique! I don't think a day has gone by where he hasn't made me laugh! His confidence has grown and he has a very positive attitude to learning. His  mind is like a sponge and he takes in everything he learns in class and at home! Jack is a great friend to others and his knowledge and understanding of the world truly amazes me! You should be very proud of yourself Jack!

Years 1 and 5 Play Project!

Years 1 and 5 have been taking part in a 'Play Project'.

Some year 5 pupils are given a group of year 1 pupils and they either complete a task together or play outdoor games. The idea is for the children to work together effectively as well as learn some new games to play at break and lunch!

Wendy Smith Visit!

Today, as part of our 21st Century Legacy Project we had Wendy Smith the world famous Paralympic basketball player come in and visit us!

We felt extremely privileged to touch some of her fantastic medal collection and ask her questions about her fascinating life!

Eddy from 3AK said "I thought it was good when she said not to let anyone stop believing in yourself."
