Year 6 - SATs are over!

Year 6 have been working tirelessly over the last few weeks revising for their Year 6 SATs. All week the children in Year 6 have been tested on their reading, mathematical and grammar skills. Today as a reward for all their hard work and effort Year 6 had a lovely breakfast and a morning playing at the park.

Well done Year 6!

Year 6 War walk - Hornchurch Country Park

We are very lucky to have such rich local history. Yesterday, as part of our World War two topic, Year 6TS and Year 6PM visited the country park to learn about some of war history relating to our local area. We were guided through the park by the excellent and very knowledgeable park ranger, Tony,  who showed us and told us many facts about RAF Hornchurch which resided at Hornchurch country park during World War one and World War two. He also showed us some War artefacts that have been discovered at Hornchurch country park.

Here are some pictures from our visit.
