Nursery Class were so excited to dress
up as their favourite story character for World Book Day.
We focused on the story of Elmer,
which links to our topic of ‘Colour’.
Nursery class enjoyed listening to the story and we anticipated what
might happen next, discussing the different characters within the story. The children were able to act the story out
using small world toys and we experimented by creating our own ‘Elmer’
patterned elephants, using different techniques such as roller paints, mark
making tools and paint splattering.
