Mrs Lacey is very clumsy and is always dropping things.
Today she dropped water all over the DT room floor.
Year 2 were set the task of investigating which would be the most absorbent material to use so that Mrs Lacey could clear up the mess before Mr Bailey found out!
First they made a prediction and then discussed how they would set up testing their prediction.
Lots of discussions were had on how to make sure the test was fair. Next they planned the equipment that was needed and then they were ready to investigate.
The groups chose lots of different ways to investigate.
Some timed.
Others counted drops.
Once the groups had found the most absorbent material they helped Mrs Lacey clear up her mess.
