To finish our topic on a 'wow', year 1 held a 'Space Day' on Thursday 14th February.
The children and adults came dressed in space themed outfits which were definitely out of this world! Our lessons were also space themed.
This is what the children saw after break.....
The children created a wanted poster and wrote some descriptive sentences to find the culprit.
We ended our day by decorating some biscuits in space goo and smarties. We also used 3D shapes to print a picture of a rocket.

The children absolutely enjoyed space day. A massive thank you to all the parents/carers for the children's outfits and to all the adults who supported during the day's activities.
