Year 1 came to school dressed as their favourite book character as part of World Book Day. The children thoroughly enjoyed the activities throughout the day. A big thank you to Miss Staples for organising the reading trail. A major highlight of the day!
Reading trail! We had to find the hidden book characters in the playground.
As Miss Shah was dressed as Willy Wonka's chocolate bar, we made our own fruity chocolate treats with mini marshmallows. Yum!
The children cut the strawberries very carefully, added their marshmallows and topped it with melted chocolate and sprinkles!
