Year 1 Special Visitors

Year 1 have had some very special visitors just before the Easter holidays!

On Monday 20th, March Premier Sports came into school to teach Year 1 how to play dodge ball! During the session the children learned the rules of dodge ball and practised their attacking and defending skills. Towards the end of the session the class enjoyed competing against each other in teams.

On Monday 27th March Abi Todd, who is an Outreach Officer involved with both St Andrews and Allsaints church, visited Year 1 to talk about the importance of the Easter celebrations for Christians. Abi brought in some significant objects, such as hot cross buns and eggs and explained the meaning of them of them to the class.

Here are some photos of the class having a great time playing playing dodgeball and learning about Easter. Thank you to our very talented visitors!
