Have a peek at our adorable Year 1 children who were busy last week doing a variety of activities linked to our topic on Plants including: planting Broad Bean seeds, creating signs for our class garden centre, learning to spell scientific vocabulary related to plants and researching using information books. They also looked around our new school grounds to see what is growing!
Over the next few weeks we are looking forward to setting up simple tests involving Broad Bean seeds and cress seeds, going on a wildflower search around our school grounds and planting a variety plants.
If you have any spare tights, yogurt pots, trowels, seeds or bulbs we would be grateful if you can donate them to Year 1.
