Year 1 started their new R.E topic by learning about a parable which is a simple story with a moral lesson as told by Jesus.
The parable was called the 'The lost Sheep'.
A shepherd had lost one of his sheep but was determined to find it. Meanwhile the lost sheep was being hunted down and chased by a wolf! The shepherd eventually found the sheep unharmed.
What do you think the message is behind the story?
To help the children understand how the shepherd was feeling, Mrs Williams hid super toy in the KS2 playground! Also, Miss Shah only gave the children one minute to find super toy!
We later spoke about how the shepherd and the sheep would be feeling in this situation.
