Chinese New Year
Chinese Lion Dancing and gifting of 'hong bao'.
Last week, Nursery children discussed how they may fly to China from London and were introduced to a Chinese celebration - Chinese New Year. They had lots of fun making loud music for their peers to dance around like Chinese lions.
Children also counted out 10 coins to put in a special Chinese red envelope called 'hong bao' to gift to Bob, our class bear.
This week we will continue to explore the Chinese celebration through engaging in food tastings and singing Chinese songs..
